Offering 8 styles on tap along with seasonal brews, Hill Top Hops is a small brew house locally owned and operated in the Brooklyn, Hants County area - located beside the Tidal Bore Farm Market, near Windsor.
Hill Top Hops use all Nova Scotia grown hops in their brews, including from their own hop yard. It is known for its uniquely named great tasting beer and for their friendly, friends like family atmosphere.

Right next door to King’s-Edgehill School, you’ll find the Dill Family Farm! Visit the giant pumpkin patch, browse the retail, seed and produce market, and grab a snack at the on-site food truck.
The late Howard Dill was four-time World Champion pumpkin grower and originator of “Dill’s Atlantic Giant” pumpkin variety, which has produced world-record pumpkins up to 1,136 kilograms (2,504 pounds). -

The Avon Community Farmers’ Market is located in Victoria Park in Windsor, NS. This small family friendly market brings community together to socialize and eat local while supporting local, small agricultural producers, crafters and artisans.

West Hants Historical Society Museum
The West Hants Historical Society collects and preserves artifacts and historical information related to Hants County, Nova Scotia. Displaying the cultural history of one of Nova Scotia’s oldest communities: household, industrial and shipping technologies of a bygone era. They also hold an extensive library and archives of Nova Scotia and Hants County, as well as providing genealogies of many local families. The society now owns over 1,000 artifacts.

Fort Edward
Located in Windsor in the Bay of Fundy & Annapolis Valley region, Fort Edward which was built by Major Charles Lawrence in 1750 to secure the overland route between Annapolis Royal, the old capital of Nova Scotia, and the new capital at Halifax, founded in 1749.
The blockhouse, which is the oldest in North America, and earthworks are all that remain of Fort Edward. Acadian families were detained here after the 1755 deportation. The fort was an important base during the Seven Years’ War, the American Revolution and the War of 1812. At its peak, Fort Edward served as a small, but busy military hub.
An exhibit inside the blockhouse provides information about the history of Fort Edward. Interpretive panels found around the grounds, present the story of Fort Edward’s role in the history of the area. There is also a short, 1.3 km walking trail around the property with beautiful views over the surrounding landscape.
