SUMMER CAMP COORDINATOR

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to help shape our Youth Performing Arts Summer Camps! These positions are funded by the Government of Canada Summer Job Grants. Roles are flexible and will be assigned based on your specific qualifications, skills, and interests.

ABOUT THE JOB

    • Program Architecture: Design and organize distinct performing arts camps tailored to specific age groups (campers range between ages 8–16)

    • Artistic Direction: Lead rehearsals for theatrical pieces culminating in a showcase at the end of each week

    • Technical Instruction: Teach foundational theatre skills, including stagecraft, costuming, and set design

    • Performance Coaching: Guide campers in characterization, emotional projection, and audience engagement strategies

    • Creative Workshops: Facilitate hands-on sessions in prop-making, movement, and sound exploration

    • Content Collaboration: Partner with our Communications & Social Media Manager to capture "behind-the-scenes" content, documenting the creative process and daily camp magic!

  • Employment Term: Seasonal / Full-time
    Compensation: $16.75/hour
    Commitment: 35 hours/week
    Location: Windsor/West Hants, N.S.
    Summer Camp Dates: June 29 - August 21
